Hello, I am very exciting about starting my cosmetology course so I want to start putting a portfolio together. I am curious as to what I should have in my make-up kit, what brands are recommended, and any tips that might be helpful. Foundation is one of my biggest priorities as I want my models to have their skin color matched so I would like to know how to go out about that. Thank you for your help!

Well you're going to want some universal which work on different skin tones and eye and hair colors since you will have a wide range of clientele

I suggest getting one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. Since they come with colors for every eye color, and have a good quality from what I've heard. :)

Lots of higher end brands make foundation pallets such as makeup forever and bobbi brown, as Well as Concealer and lipstick pallets. start with something like that, as Well as blush and eyeshadow pallets.
