Hello!
I was wondering if anyone had any experince using natural, Organic or vegan make up? I know just because one might be vegan it might not be natural or if it's organic it might not be vegan, etc.
Basically, I'd like to start wearing make-up with less crap chemicals and crushed bugs in it (re:red lipstick). I use the organic line from physicians formula and bare minerals (and an ulta foundation that I didn't care to ask cus it was awesome lol) but I'm looking for good foundation and staples with products closer to nature.
I use NYX and Wet and Wild because they're cruelty free but one time I left their liquid eyeliner in my car and what the sun did to the product (harden it like tar) made me think "eww that goes on my face! " what's the point of a great, youthful making skin regimen if we "paint" our skin with crap!

Its very tough beautiful. I had a nasty reaction to some facial wipes that were touted as being "natutal" and after getting a prick test to find out what the offender was I was shocked to learn that the stuff in my collection that prides itself on being natural and vegan had the culprit ingredient that is considered high on the skin irritant list. I didn't get the results till I was already traveling overseas and my husband went thru all my makeup and had to toss out most of my Tarte goodies, Too Faced bronzers, and even my Josie Maran makeup. The closets thing to nature...not wearing any makeup because it cannot go without chemical based preservatives to keep it from going bad within 6 months. The only line that I feel that is worthy and probably up your alley is Jane Iredale. I used her line when I was going thru cancer treatments as it didn't contain a ton of nonsense to irritate my super sensitive skin at that time. But don't expect trendy, earth shattering eye shadow shades. Its basic and to the point but her foundations are beautiful.

Brazen is a really good line out of Ferndale MI. It's all cruelty free and without all the harsh chemicals and AMAZING pigmentation. Her line is even sold in some Whole Foods stores! Brazen cosmetics.com.

You should go on to this website http://m.vitacost.com/cosmetics-products it shows you a bunch of natural/organic products. I love andalou naturals, arcona, honey bee garden, dr. hashka, Burts bees and Beauty without cruelty (these products are all organic). I don't think benefit or tarte are that natural though, they have parabens and other bad stuff. Hope this helped! :)
