I wash dogs for a living. Because of this and my guitar playing I have extremely dry hands. Some of the shampoos I have to use cause an allergic reaction that makes them chapped. What can I do to make them soft again?

Oils work better than creams when it comes to absorbing into the skin
shea butter
coconut oil
cocoa butter
things like that would be more of a help

Soap and glory!! But if your hands are really dry, maybe try putting on an ample amount of Vaseline or something really moisturising onto your hands and putting them in cotton gloves overnight?

If you do go for a drugstore product though I would opt for something unscented

L'Occitane's hand cream is great! Super hydrating, it contains shea butter. And it smells really good. You can find it at Sephora or in stores.

I have used soap and glory shower products before and I really liked them. I think I'll try that. Is it only sold at sephora?
