What's the difference between a highlighter and concealer. I REALLY NEED HELP AND A FEW TIPS! PLEASE HELP ME LADIES!

Can someone give me the 101 on the basics of make up. like explaining what do you actually need. I'm lost when it comes to hearing all about concealers, highlighters, primers, contouring and what not. do you really have to do all of that, to have a good make-up look done properly? :0 I'm so lost:(

No you don't need all of that concealer just covers up pimples dark spots redness etc.anything you want coverd there are different primers but tr point of it is to make makeup last longer and fill in pores or fine lines contouring just sculpts your face highlighters can be used differently & come in different formulas cream powder liquid they are used to high light the face put them on your cheek bones nose bridge cuspids bow where ever the sun will hit & you want it to shine :)

Some people do this all but put a little of everything others do it dramatically how ever you feel comfortable (:
