My hair is so dry can anyone suggest what to use?

I haven't had my hair cut for a year, its dreadful anyone suggest anything I can do to pep it so it doesn't look so awful, also it so dry and life less help... I can't afford a cut

Coconut oil mask. 1-2 times a week.

Thank you, unfortunately I can't use coconut I'm allergic it brings out a rash on my face when I use it in my hair
