and keep it down so it frames your face :)
make sure to tease hair a little for volume or use mousse

I like just plain straight or wavy hair for photos! No updos or sock buns since they might get cut out of the frame and you'll look funny (I've seen it happen! lol) I agree with Lavinia, add in some volume to make your hair look naturally luscious. :)
