I have natural auburn hair and I want to die the ends. It's a little longer than shoulder-length. Any suggestions on colours?

Well, depending on how natural you want to keep your dye, you may want to lighten the ends a few for a bit of an ombre affect so maybe a reddish blond.
If you're going for a colored look, you could try a deep purple, blue or red. All of those will make your skin and hair really pop.
