So, this year, I decided to go for the hipster look. I've heard stuff like floral headbands, shirts with designs like varsity and such, skinny jeans and shorts, but I don't know what shoes to wear. I was think converse high tops. Please give me your ideas. Also, I've heard of hipsters wearing distressed stuff.
So, again, share your ideas and stuff! :) thanks.

My advice is to put in your own style, But add that hipster touch, With the things you've said. I think it's a great idea, Since not only are you making the style you, It's still the style you want but with your own touch. It makes it more unique and comfortable for you to wear.
As for the immediate rudeness here from Grace, She asked for advice, not for someone to come on here and make an immature comment. Please think before you type something. Thank you.

Mostly long hair I wood say.. Unique t shirts like ones with sayings on it or words brandymelville and forever 21 wood be a good place to look for pants I would say leggings or high wasted shorts or floral shorts or skirts. And shoes combat boots or converse or toms but toms are pretty expensive in my opinion but you can find Cheeper kinds that look like toms at Walmart and places like that! Hope this helped?

Fashion advice: wear whatever you feel.
Social Advice: it's kinda socially unacceptable to call a certain style "hipster"... Hipsters actually hate the word hipster simply because their lifestyle isn't a fashionable fad it's their persona. I only know this because I was born & raised in Portland, OR (we have a sufficient amount of so called "hipsters") buuuut yeee homegirl, skip the word hipster when describing a style.. Hope this helps with future references

Guys sometimes making up your own style is difficult when your young. I know when I was younger it was easiest to just try and imitate styles. It's not that bad because given time you will branch off if it into your own style once you get a better sense of self. The word "hipster" can mean so many things now so I can't give you a definite answer. Try shopping at American apparel and get some stuff you like

Wear what you want rojo! people waste so much time trying to look hipster or punk or whatever, but that's totally phony. think about it: when punk came around in the late 70's, it was just a rag tag bunch of people bored with the usual fashions, who listened to and made the same music. they weren't on pinterest searching "punk trends" or something like that. they just wore what they wanted and said eff the rest. everyone else is just imitating. don't be an imitator. it may take a while to find your niche, figure out what looks good on your body, and realize what makes you most confident. rather than wasting time and money putting together a "hipster" wardrobe, put together a wardrobe full of pieces YOU love, explore new brands, browse street fashion sites, grow your knowledge on fabrics, practice makeup techniques. just do you! :)

There isn't really a "hipster" style it's more about embracing your style and having confidence?? Being from Seattle in my alternative high school 80% of the students were hipsters but there wasn't one distinct style. Wear what makes you feel good and go for unique pieces that you can't find everywhere. Also wear a variety of things, skirts, pants, tights, etc.

Being "hipster" isn't trying to define your self.. Know who you are and be happy with it. Find what suits you.

One more thing dress however you want don't go with a certain style just to " fit in". Most of the girls in high school dress the same and copy each others " style". Be unique and don't try to be like them.

Most people will buy items that they like, feel good in, and look good in. if a certain style doesn't come naturally to you, you will look silly.

LOL! Do you know the definition of the word hipster? Sorry but I suggest you dress like yourself and not like someone you're not. You'll just look like you're tying to hard.
