Try curling your upper lashes to open up your eyes and make them stand out. For an everyday eye look I think its a little bit dramatic because once you get used to the darker colours, it might feel "naked" or too "bare" putting on lighter colours but this would be perfect for a night time eye look! :)

For daytime it's a little too much in my opinion. Switch the blacks with brown and it'll be perfect for everyday. This is a great night look though!

Aha don't worry my lashes are short too. If you really want, curl your upper lashes after the mascara is fully dry with an nyc eyelash curler. Since the rubber part isn't thick, it gets into the base of your lashes easily ;)

I think it's very nice the color helps enhance your eye color.I'm all for a little pop of color for day wear or night no rules to it at all.I would say carry the purple color to also the top of your lash line if you want.
