I dyed my hair blacl a little over a month ago if I go buy my own color (Burgundy) will it take? I don't have time for salon today.

There are some dyes at the store made for dark hair! I think it's made by garnier. it'll get your hair a more vibrant red. I'm not sure if the black dye will mess it up however.

No, it will not. Assuming the black was also a box color, it would actually have to be more removed that a typical high lift color could achieve. Thankfully it would not have to be lifted very much to achieve a burgundy, but all the same if you apply a color on top of the black color, you'll most likely achieve a very subtle red tone at best.

Color doesn't lift color you need to strip the black out its very hard to do since black is a mix of every color you need to bleach and strip the color out before you lighten it. Goto Sally's beauty supply they will tell you what to do also youtube. Good luck!!
