Storing make up?

Hello girls,
my question is about storing your makeup the best way. I heard liquid liners should be kept upside down or flat, otherwise the top could get dry? what about other makeup? I store mine in the bedroom because every time me or my husband shower there is so much steam, I had the benefit bad gal liner and there grew mold on the tip :(( I would love to have it handy in the bathroom but I'm afraid other makeup gets bad, too :/

I keep most of mine in the washroom but mine have never gotten moldy or anything. I guess to be safe store your makeup somewhere else. And, for gel liner store it upside down so it doesn't dry out, mascara tube should be sitting up and not on the side, eyeliner I don't think it really matters. Any sort of cream eyeshadow I keep upside down.
