I just bought a set from bh cosmetics online last night. I read in the reviews that they hold up against those brands for a much better price.

Real Techniques!! I love every single one of mine and use quite a few of them every single day. They are reasonably priced, versatile and of good quality. They're the only brushes I'll buy now.

This is what I got. I recommend the pink ones.
You should be able to. I believe they ship internationally. You should check it out at least!

Definatly go for real techniques, mac is overpriced and ELF is very hit and miss with there products. real techniques are so soft and work very well, I would reccomend there core collection set (Orange).

Real techniques brushes are amazing!! I absolutely love them, however they don't have a wide selection of brushes, and they aren't your typical brushes either, but are cheap as well, so if your looking for a certain brush, I would go MAC, but real techniques 'core collection' is the best set I ever bought, you can buy them in most Boots stores.

Real Technique brushes are amazing! Super soft. For a good set of brushes, look at Sedona Lace's Vortex Collection. They make some of the same brushes MAC does, just much cheaper.

I do like Elf's blending brushes and for the price they're great because you can buy a bunch so you'll always have a clean one on hand.

For quality, RT is amazing. Their bristles are extremely soft, and the application is always flawless. The only downside is that they don't have a wide selection of brushes. MAC is good. They have a wide selection, however some tend to shed, and they're really expensive. There are tons of dupes for MAC brushes as well.
