What I do is kinda pull the side of my eye and draw the wing how I want it, and then I look down and draw the line across my lash line :)

Try with gel or liquid, its easier.

I use inglot gel liner so silky smooth and easy to apply. it dries and doesn't budge. also I put tape from bottom of outer corner of my eye up to end of my eyebrow then paint on the wing. the tape gives it the perfect straight edge. don't use liquid for this or it will run under the tape. you can't mess up with the tape :)

Use an eyeliner brush and the photo guide Angel O. posted. A brush is more stiff, small and easier to control than the traditional flimsy eyeliner tip. :)

When creating a wing go off of the corner of your eye and work from there. Don't make it too low or too high.
