How do I fix this?!

Ok, so usually I apply my eyeliner and then I curl my lashes and put on mascara. The problem is that when I curl my lashes my curler messes up my eyeliner/ makes it less pigmented even when I wait a little for my eyeliner to set and dry. How do I fix this?

I'd curl your lashes, then use liner, then after apply mascara:)

The thing is my lashes won't hold a curl that long. I take forever w/eyeliner :(
