Dying my hair??

So in August I really want to dye hair (SEMI PERMANENT) but I'm debating weather I should try a lighter brown or a medium darker brown. I have pale skin and freckles and my natrual hair colour is red. Lots of people think it's stupid that I want to dye it and blah, blah blah because its red and unique and everything and that's true but I don't hate it I just want to try something new!!

What colour: darker/medium brown or lighter brown?

Semi only last about a week demi is what stays for a mounth or more and since you have red hair you first would need a ash color to cover your red hair I would honistly say go brighter red but if you wanted to go brown I'd suggest a medium ash
