From sallys- loreal highlights. I used to use magenta. It lifts your hair color kinda like a bleach but way safer then i would use manic panic on top to make it super vivid!

i dyed my bottom section of my hair red and it killed it big time !!! snapped off my ends and left my ends frizzy and dry . the colour als runs out quick when washing it , well thats what happened to me . so i just dyed my hair back dark :) hope this helps <3

You need to pre-lighten your hair. I suggest going to a professional for this part as the products maintain the natural integrity of your hair. As far as the red, I suggest only buying brands Manic Panic or Special Effects. They last longer and have a wider variety. You will also want to put a clear semi-permanent dye over the color to help prolong the color. Manic Panic Amplified is the best to use.
