are you keeping this for yourself or does everything go in your kit?.
isn't it something that we make folks pretty but got a complex of our own.. its just a part of life. I was good until the last couple years.. ;-)

Yep. makes complete sense.
I used to do so much. then when I started doing others faces I started rushing thru my own.. n now if I get concealer and foundation on its a miracle!.. lol.

I wasn't sure if other MUSs keep their stash n kit seperate.. ;-)
I do cause I'm a color hoard. lol..
I recently cleaned out my kit. threw stuff out. gave some away, and put some in my stash. I'm going to reevaluate this whole thing n start from scratch.. hopefully get they my complex n the meantime.. ;-)

OMG!! You are such a spicey lil vixen Jackie! Whatever! You are so crazy!
Ok now I totally understand your aversion to posting/taking pics of yourself, because I feel the same way. I have been looking at this mug all my life and its not getting any better...lol. That being said...You have such lovely lines to your face. Your jaw line is lovely (no jowels like me don't be jealous). I struggle with finding my own beauty and I think that is why I have been taking pictures of myself, this last year, more than ever. I know that I MUST look myself in the face and see the true me and decide how I feel about her. Sometimes I don't like her, I think she is a crazy bitch or just lazy, but I still love her...I always try to love her. I cannot tell you how happy it has made me to see your face Jackie. I think that lipstick looks so lovely on you and I just can't wait to meet you one of these days.
btw, that hot pink blush is the SHIT! and the red lipstick, lord have mercy! Love ya darlin!

Jacqueline. I'm coming that way. don't be surprised if I give you a buzz.. ;-)
I really NEED to go next month to visit my fam. they live in way out but I always find my way fo LA.. I get a rental and disappear while their at work.. ;-). but I prob won't go until spring. I'm going to loose my southwest credit. it expires in Sept.. :-( blah. anyway.
when I first was taking this thing seriously I visited like 3 schools. one was MUD (the rest I don't REM the names. it was ages ago). but one thing I rem the girls saying when they took me to the classes is that after learning to make others up your angles feel strange when you start doing your own face again. I've found that to b dead on... you get used to your canvas being in front of you. and it kind of changes your perspective. you have to actually give yourself a little more time to do your own face, n we ain't got that kinda time!. so then we walk around feeling busted (eventho we don't look that way, but we're perfectionist so that's how we see it cause we know we can do much more)... life happens. I think its a girl thing.. we just give so much to others as women.. take some time for you (easier Said than done right.. ;-)...) but its mandatory.

as far as the kit goes. I completely agree!.. and I did mine the same.. my kit mirrord my stash. just on abundance (more shades etc). I'll test things for awhile. then stop and narrow things down to a solid selection. now I'm back in testing phase.. New to drugstore stuff so having fun with that for myelf during hard times.. but after things pass, getting into high end and building a new kit..

Tara, I hope your method of taking pics works. I think that's a good idea. just throw yourself in there so you can just get used to seeing yourself.. I realize since I stopped taking pics like 3 years ago, sometimes I look in the mirror and I'm like, "oh yeah, that's how I look.".. lol. you really can forget. crazy but true. then you have to get used to you again.. lol. so just throw yourself in there. I don't know y you don't like what you see but I definitely know how it goes.. you ladies are all fab!.. somehow we gone get thru this and figure out how to breakdown this wall for each of us. :-)
