I have extremely thick hair and when I curl it, it looks awesome but only for about 45 minutes. Is there anything I can do to prevent my curls from 'deflating'?

Do you use hair spray after you curl it?

Scrunching/curl mousse after you curl. It's better than hairpsray bc it doesn't flake up or make your curls all stiff and crunchy! Mousse makes them look soft and natural :)

Yes Danielle. I do use hair spray after I curl my hair. I try to use the right amount because if I use too much (when I am trying to get them to stay I use a lot) they get all matted and when I use the right amount they still don't last.

I know this sounds weird but it works for me. Buy a cheap heat protectant. that leaves a sticky or some sort of residue on your hair let it dry then curl. (:
