I have slightly thin hair. What are some cute, simple, easy hairstyles for me?

I have thin, fine, oily brunette hair. It's thin because of alopecia areata, an auto-immune disease that makes you lose your hair (only some in my case). It's probably oily because I run my fingers through it/touch it all the time, a bad habbit I need to break! So, I want to know:

-What are some great hairstyles for thin hair? Besides straightening and curling. My hair won't curl unless I have a huge ammount of hair spray on each section beforehand; which I understand isn't healthy for your hair.

-Are there any other women on Beautylish with alopecia? I have had it since fourth grade. It's getting easier to deal with, all in all, I'm happy. I get hair growth treatments every now and again.

I had alopecea and if you get rogain, it will help your hair regrow :) there will be a lot of new growth at first, and it will even out.
