I'd suggest going to an eye doctor especially if you need them for a prescription. I wear regular contacts & like Chasmin said, it's important to get the right ones that fit your eyes properly. They come in different shades & usually you pick the color you want. For me, the eye doctor gave me sample contacts in different brands to try out for 2 weeks to see which ones I liked better. They also taught me how to put them in & take them out correctly. After that you can buy boxes or order them online once you know the correct info for them.

Def get ones prescribed. I had ones from online & they hurt my eyes so bad. Not worth the pain or waste of money.

It really depends on your eyes.. I had prescription ones and didn't like them at all! They shifted on my eyes so badly and after a while, all I'd see was the color of the contact. They also made my eyes super itchy and red. I'd definitely recommend getting a trial pair from your doc and test them out before you spend the money.
