Heat Protectant. Suggestions?

I use garner fructis (I don't know how to spell it) but I don't like it much... It feels disgusting, it makes your hair really dry, and it makes my hair smell like black licorice for some reason. Anyway, DON't BUY IT.

@Jennifer really I love the garnier fructis it majesty hair soft and shiny and I thought it smelt better than most heat protectants. Just because It doesn't work good in your hair doesn't mean it won't work good in Ruby's.
