You put powder over foundation or bb cream to set it and make it last longer

Liquid foundation is definitely not the same as a matte powder haha just apply foundation/bb cream like you usually would and lightly brush the face powder over the foundation :))

No, a liquid foundation is just a foundation, there's some that make you look matte but kind of oily, matte powders are supposed to help with that and give you the matte look you want :) so I recommend you to use your foundation or bb cream and then your powder :)

Of you're oily them powder if you're dry then liquid or you could just apply foundation then a matte powder after.

Rimmel matte powders are the best drugstore setting powder to go over foundation or bb cream. I highly recommend it.

Rimmel works well. So does essence. You can find them both for around $4 at Ulta

I agree with Anna! I use powder over foundation and BB cream to set it.

Unlike everyone else rimmels powder worked terrible for me -_-
Personally me being both oily & having larger pores in areas I recommend cover girls oil control or cover girls advance radiance. I suggest this for one because I hate whenever powders sink into my fine lines & pores these powders are anti aging (meaning they won't do that) also, I find that both have a longer wearing time (approximately 8 hours) & the rimmels powder I got about 2 hours & became shiny.. I'm not sure why it didn't work for me like everyone else but, who knows:) hope this helps!
