Have tried twisting it a little bit tighter than usual?? maybe just use a sock bun? thats easy to use if you have long hair. :)

A sock bun ' I have tried using the little round thingy to put on befor doing it ' I just don't seem to get it right. when I do it I still have lots of hair out.

Oh yeah its pretty hard to use at first, it needs lots of practice. You know hautebrilliance on youtube have a video about diffrnt types of buns, you could check it out and try different kinds maybe you'll find those easier to do. :)

Get an actual sock, for long hair I recomend a knee high sock. Put your hair in a ponytail where you want the bun, and then roll the sock up like a donut, pull your hair through the middle, and then spread your hair around the sock, tie your hair down with another rubber band or hair tie. Then just twist the ends around the bottom of the bun. This is what my winterguard did and we had to wear sock buns for competitions... But ya. This is another way to do it that I think is really easy and not a hassle!!

I would actually cut a thick sock! I have thick hair,thickest ever and it works also pretty long.
