Does anyone have a clue why Waterproof Mascara makes my lids sore?

waterproof formulas always dry a lot harder & stiffer than normal formulas, so maybe its too harsh for your eyes. i know that when i have put on a lot of mascara (i always wear waterproof) and im taking my makeup off for the day, it will hurt sometimes and make mine sore as well.

Before you scrub it off and hurt your eyes mote try usig an oil based make up remover (eveb baby oil will work) put a bit on some cotton and hold it against your lashes for 30 seconds it will break it up an make it easier to remove

Thanks for the advice Ladies! I must wear WP because my eyes get so watery during the day :[ I also feel like the skin under my eyes is oily so my mascara tends to rub on to that area! I have tried using an oil based remover but for some reason I never stick to anything! :] Ill have to get in the habit of using one!
