When I straighten my hair I use john freidas frizz ease heat defeat protective styling spray...long name I know haha...but it works really good with my hair keeps it really straight not frizzy at all and I have wavy hair so I really love it...its specifically for hair straightening...and the tresemme one is good for heat in general...hope I helped :)

I bought it once & left my hair sticky I think I applied it wrong... I put it on then blow dried and then straightened.. Do you let your hair air dry then apply it?

I was finding that all the heat protectants I've tried left my hair greasy feeling (I have fine wavy hair) and I talked to my hair dresser about it and she told me that what protects the hair from the heat is the layer the products form. she just said use whatever I like, mousse, serum whatever I liked. as long as it was a hair product. hope this helps

No. I usually blow dried my hair. I never noticed a weird texture to my hair though.

I use the herbal essence heat spray. I really like it a lot and it made my hair feel really nice.
