I picked up a MAC mineralize foundation a few months ago and it looked good initially. off late I've noticed that as soon as I apply it, my skin looks darker. what can I do to fix this?
I don't think its the wrong shade because I have studio fix in the same shade.

If you have oily skin it could be causing your foundation to appear darker. I believe it's called oxidization?

Mac all shades of different line is not same. Use BB cream before Mac. Will solve this problem.

Ok. Are you using any oil control products? I would recommend and oil controlling primer and a oil control powder after you apply your foundation.

NCs and NWs are not created equal. If you're, for example, NW20 in one foundation, it doesn't mean you're going to wear NW20 in a different one, because each formula is different. (This is why I don't like it when people are not specific about which foundation they're a particular MAC shade in.)
If it's been a few months since you've owned it, you may not be able to exchange it. Instead, what I would suggest is, after you apply it, to take a tissue and blot your face. Your foundation will stay on, but (touch wood!) it won't oxidize.

Hope you check this post again. yes, you can exchange it. I've done it before.. the girl gave me the wrong shade. you was all worried and nervous but its a none issue..
just try the next shade in, walk around the mall or whatever n check it in the mirror later. make sure it dries to what matches you. that's what's most important.
