I'm going into 8th grade. I don't really wear makeup but I wanted to start.

Maybe mascara and lip gloss or baby lips

My 8th grade makeup evolved from mascara to (by the end of the year) mascara, 3-tone eyeshadow, and baby lips. c:

Is eyeliner too much?

I think eye liner would make the look for grade 8 as long as it wasn't too bold or too dark.

That's great! I didn't start wearing makeup until the 8th grade so I know what your going through. Mascara obviously is the easiest thing to put on so you can wear that. I started off with eyeshadow and mascara. Everyone says that eyeliner is better to start off with but you should practice before you start wearing it. Eyeshadow is easy (just don't put on TOO much). Lipgloss or baby lips will also look great. You don't need a super bright and vibrant lipstick, that's more for when you get older. You could also wear pressed powder to clear up any tiny things on your face. Unless your breaking out REALLY bad, you won't need foundation or concealer yet (and when the time comes for that, put it on and then put the powder on, it will set it and make sure it stays) sorry for this being so long, but I hope it helped!

I just finished 8th grade and I usually just went with mascara lip gloss and a little blush (that's just bc I'm very fair skinned and look ghostly without a little color) and the occasional very thin eyeliner!

Natural is great too! if you don't like mascara, a little eyeliner will still make those eyes pop.

When I was a little girl I was in beauty pageants and wore makeup, so if you want to where makeup now, I think it will be fine :-)

If you want foundation use a mineral powder - bare minerals is nice and it's like $35

I was thinking more of eye makeup.
