It might be long, and I might explain a lot of things, So I'll get right to it.
You will need:
Scissors.
Thick yarn in any color of your choice.

I'm using a thinner yarn for pictorial purposes.
Cut a long strand, about the length of both arms outstretched, and to be safe add a few extra inches.

Hold the shorter end behind your hand, as shown, and leave a small piece hanging off.
(By the way, excuse the random Koala Bear in the background of the tutorial. He wanted to say Hi I guess.)

Wrap the longer end around each finger once, as shown.

Then, wrap it back around, Leaving your pinky finger without a loop, So three fingers should have two little.. loops. And the pinky one.

Here's the tricky part.
Using your index/pointer finger, bring the loop on the bottom over the top, and remove it from your finger.

Ta dah. Continue this until you reach the pinky.

Push the top ( now alone ) loops down, and re wrap' from the pinky to the middle finger as shown, and repeat the fifth step of looping the bottom over top.

When you get something like this, a short tiny thread, It's to to simply knot off.

Simply remove each loop and place it onto the finger next to it. The pinky, goes to the ring, and ring loops over it like you did so many times to get to this step. When you react the last one, tie a knot and your done.

I did another one with thicker yarn since the thinner yarn make a very holey head band.
