I was considering this dye... Maybe black and red? But I was wondering if it will wash away to my natural color after a while? Help?!? I don't want to damage my hair in ANY WAY! Please help!

Dyeing your hair in any way will damage the hair. The only thing I can recommend for that is to use moisturizing hair products and a deep conditioner a couple times a week. Depending on how dark your hair is, they may need to bleach or lighten your hair for the red. (I'm not sure on this but I had part of my hair dyed pink and the lady had to bleach the hair and then put the pink dye on.) the red will wash out faster than the black, probably in a couple or few weeks. Hope I helped!

Manic panic is reasonably okay for dyeing hair, however because of their ingredients that doesn't harm the hair as much as other brands, the lasting effect is shorten to a week or two. Three-four if you bleach prior to application.
Any hair dye will fade after 3 weeks or your regrowth starts appearing. Nothing is truly permanent.

Thank you girlies! I've never tried semi permanent dye or any dye for that matter! I'm still thinking on it!

Manic Panic is a semipermanent dye and its vegetal, the dye itself does not damage the hair, the bleach does. So if you don't bleach hair, it won't get damaged, however the color outcome may not be as bright as you have imagined it, and it will fade really fast.

Manic Panic dye itself is not harmful for the hair. The only way it is harmful is if you bleach before hand which is usually needed for good results. It really does wash out fast though so I would consider trying it without bleach to see how it looks, because I would try to avoid bleaching at all costs.

Thanks Elizabeth and Ollie! I wasn't planning on bleaching! I was wondering if my hair will fade back to its original color or stay sort of like the color I dyed it?

It will eventually fade back to it's original color, but it may take quite a while. It won't change your actual hair color , but there will just be lingering color. I know there are products you can buy to remove hair dye though if it is an issue.
