Does primer stop foundation from oxidation? I have oily skin so I've been interested in buying the CG 3 in 1 foundation but I'm not sure about my shade. I have a CG pressed powder in Tawny that is slightly too dark so I was wondering if I should just get a lighter shade in foundation or a primer to prevent oxidation. Also does milk of magnesia prevent oxidation? Any good affordable primers? Sorry for all the questions but I really have no idea.

Primer doesn't always stop oxidation, but it can help to prevent it sometimes. The covergirl 3-in-1 doesn't oxidize on me and I have very pale skin that would be noticed. Go for the perfect shade for you and set it with a translucent powder
