So if any of you have seen a few of my posts, then y'all know I wear wigs. And THIS is why. I have so much hair I don't know what to do with it! It's never been dyed and I've never put chemicals in it, and I really don't want to because I heard it could damage my hair. I need something to put in it when it's curly though. The only time it looks decent is when my sister spends three hours straightening it. The fact that I'm mixed with so many things doesn't help either. Indian, Asian, Hungarian etc.. So yeah.. Any ideas!? And just a heads up, I've tred coconut oil. All it does it make it softer than it already is :( despite the way it may look, it feels like cat fur... I just took the three with it dry before I took a shower, and the first afterwards, hence the reason I look a mess.
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated 😩

Becca, I would suggest you get it straightened or smoothened, it won't damage your hair as long as you use a good shampoo and conditioner, but then again you will have to keep going for a root touch up everytime new hair starts showing at the roots.

You should use stay in hair creme after shower while your hair is still wet it will help you style your hair and lose the frizz. and you should try putting in rollers at night I think it will give you the most perfect curls with no heat at all.

@Jareka: honestly, I'm not sure. I chopped all my hair off about 2 years ago and I've worn a wig almost everyday (when I go out). I was always told wigs can make a person go bald but my hair just keeps growing just fine
@Ashley: I should, but I'm always on the fence about it because I feel like the style would just go away once I wash it again.

Your hair is GORGEOUS! You should put a cute bow on it and put some serum to smooth it down. Maybe even curl it with a wand similar to the girls hair in the picture.

Omg your hair is beautiful... don't hide it! there are sooooo many products out there for your hair type... Mixed Chicks would probably work best for you. next time you wash your hair part it in 4 sections and put 4 large braids in it (while wet).. add some sort of mouse or holding spray. once dry I bet your hair will look amazing. I would love to see it if you do it!

Do not put any chemicals in your hair what so ever!! I'm mixed as well but I have more of the "white girl" hair but its frizzy unless I put product in it. The type of hair you have I think mixed chicks line would work really good on you. Or just get it straightened. All you have to do is keep it conditioned and you'll be fine. Love your color by the way

I agree with most of these ladies! :) I recommend going to a salon or something if you can, and have them show you how you can style it at home. But bottom line, do what makes you feel best :)

Well I put leave in conditioner on my hair (mainly at the top because that's where my hair get the puffiest ) then I wrap it up with this microfiber towl or shower cap anything snug then I don't take it down until I'm ready to leave and my hair looks flatter and more defined.. but try not to touch your hair when it's not soaking wet because it will make it puffy
