I have an interview at Dillard's tomorrow morning and I'm really not sure what to wear. This is my first real job interview, so I've never done this before. Makeup is more my forte as opposed to style, so I've got my face covered haha. Suggestions on what to wear?

Dress Professional. Pencil skirt, or black pants and a button up shirt, heels...the whole deal! :) first impressions last.

Maybe this skirt with a white blouse and a blazer with a bit of colour and ofcourse high heels and stunnig accesoiries. That would be stylish but proffesional.

I like this. Not too casual but not up tight dressy.

Classy and cute

Thanks so much everyone! I went to Kohl's and got a couple of blazers and blouses :) I'm probably going to wear my heels too, of course. :)

Don't wear anything too tight, or too revealing. No cleavage, skirts at or below the knee, low heels. As someone whom has both been interviewed several times and interviewed others, I'd say most of the outfits shared in this thread are inappropriate for a job interview (no offense ladies, they are super cute otherwise). Tight clothes, anything resembling denim (even if it is black or white), short skirts, bare shoulders, exposed cleavage, and sky-high stilettos are all distracting and don't make a great impression. If you wouldn't wear it in a conservative church, don't wear it in an interview.

Stick with something professional and clean: slacks, a blouse with adequate coverage, sedate jewelry, low-key hair & makeup, flats or low pumps. Let your resume and your personality do the talking. :) Good luck!

Thanks, Emily! I'll be wearing this nude blazer over a black button up blouse with some pretty standard dress-pants. Think that should be okay?
