It is fine to put on make up over your chicken pox but make sure you are using a clean brush when applying and make sure your skin isn't going to have a reaction to it. But try not to put on foundation if it is not needed like if you are home so that your skin and breathe and so they will heal faster afterwards. Also clean the foundation off very well! :) hope that helps

You can't apply any cosmetics, because then you will have some seam or scar.

No problem just make sure your face is cleansed very well, it always depends on your type of skin easiest way to find out is to apply the foundation on your arm first over the chicken pox as well to see if there is a reaction, as my doctor back then did say it was ok as long as I kept it clean so it does not trap any dirt

And yes its hard.. if it gets too itchy try using some aloe vera it should cool down the bites and make them less itchy.. plus its a good natural anti bacterial product.. if you have a plant at home its even better

I agree with shantele with not having to go out since people who doesn't have it can get it from you

Understandable just remove it as soon as possible and clean whatever you use very well and don't share your make up

I really wouldn't, I understand you want to look presentable but you're sick, and people understand that, you have an excuse! My mom is a nurse and she agrees to not put makeup on, you want to heal as fast as you can and the makeup will just irritate it. You can always do a little something to your hair or put on some mascara to look more awake!
