I don't think it's blended enough. Maybe try using more similar color like an red into orange or a purple into pink.

I had a lot of trouble getting a smooth surface while trying to do an ombré with nail polishes. If you have any acrylic paint used for art, try that, it works so much better! I used a white base coat, then acrylics with a sponge, then two top coats.

Yes I know you used nail polish :) I'm saying that I could never get it right with actual nail polish, so I tried paint that you would use if you were painting a picture on canvas, and it turned out awesome and way easier to ombré with than nail polish.
