Biotin is supposed to strengthen hair and nails and in theory, speeds up hair growth. Check GNC for supplement tablets.

dont wash your hair everyday. Try not to use a lot of heat on it (blow drying, flat iron, etc) get a trim every 4-6 weeks. the reason behind the haircut is because, your hair grows no matter what, but if the ends are split , youre hair will keep growing but itll keep splitting/breaking at the ends and you wont notice it getting longer.
When washing your hair, give your scalp a good massage for about 2 minutes.

There is NO such thing to make your hair grow FASTER. There are many products that will help repair it or strenghten but as far as speed goes, that depends on the person.

Sulfate free shampoo, wash hair every three days only if you can(if you can go longer.. Great) use a wide toothed comb to brush, and use less heat on it

IF YOU ARE TRULY TRYING TO GROW YOUR HAIR, YOU MUST READ! i have been trying to grow my hair for SO LONG. i've gone to get haircuts and tried many things to keep my hair healthy, but i had it all wrong. so if your like me and you are terrified to get your hair cut because youre afraid that the stylist is going to cut all your hair off and its never going to grow, then LISTEN UP!!
so yes, you NEED to get your haircut at least twice a year. the reason why is because you have split ends. split ends are what make your hair look very unhealthy, dead, and straw-like. when you have too many split ends, your hair literally starts to split in half and in all different ways, leaving your hair thin, damaged, and could even potentially become shorter. so go get your hair cut! but here is an IMPORTANT TIP: tell your stylist that you want them to "dust" your hair. what this means is that you want them to take off centimeters of the ends of your hair. a big mistake is telling your stylist that you want a trim. yes, a trim takes off all of the split ends completely, but it also takes inches off of your hair.. and you DO NOT want your stylist to go "scissor happy".
so, when you "dust" your hair, you are essentially leaving some part of your split ends on your hair, although it looks healthy. to help you split ends heal, find a shampoo and conditioner and serum to fix them. the best product that i have found is called nexxus which can be found anywhere (white & grey bottles). it is a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it. at costco wholesale, they sell the perfect package of 3 (shampoo, conditioner, & serum) called pro-mend. when washing your hair, careful not to pull on your hair. also, DO NOT wash your hair every day. washing your hair every day takes out the natural oils which help your hair grow and stay healthy. wash your hair 3-4 times a week.
when brushing your hair, the worst thing you can do is pull, yank, or be careless. brush your hair slowly and smoothly, if you come to a knot, carefully hold the hair by your scalp and brush lightly at the knotted area.
now i know that maybe you hate your natural hair and you have to curl it, straighten it, blow dry it blah blah blah. heat is the worst thing for your hair and taking heat to your hair every day.. girl it is never going to grow. try your best not to take heat to your hair, and if you must then you HAVE TO use heat protector. the heat protector i use is by red-kin (brown bottle) so for everything else, take your vitamins and drink lots of water!
i really hope this helps, i know it helped me!!

Water & protein. Nothing heals split ends. Your hair is dead and anyone who tells you to buy something to "fix" them is either an idiot or trying to make you waste money. Products that claim to heal split ends merely mend them together, the hair is still damaged and while splitting will temporarily decrease this is not a permanent fix. The best thing to do is get ad much of the split ends off as possible(according to how short youre willing to go) and be good to your hair. That means a good diet, fresh air, excercise, no stress, minimal heat and etc. there really is nothing that can speed your hair growth. The key is taking care of it, knowing its cycles(resting, growing, and shedding) and being patient. Everyones hair grows at different rates and has different terminal lengths.

Drink plenty of water and use coconut oil. you can use it as a deep conditioner over night or use on the hair as a conditioner before shampooing. it gives the hair an unbelievable shine and grows the hair really fast

Do not use heat on your hair for a while. I stoppped blowdrying my hair ans straightening it for about 3 months and my hair greww alot! also find conditioners that will help prevent split ends. Also dont forget to cut your split ends about every 4 months to prevent dry unhealthy hair. Trust me I work at hair salon and ive seen girls come it with very long hair and end up having to cut alot because their tipss are so damaged. Just make sure you tell you stylist not to cut too much tell her about half a cm thats enough to keep healthy

Biotin makes a lot of people's skin break out. I've been using folic acid and it makes my hair grow super fast. I try not to wash my hair as long as possible.(2-3 days because it doesn't get too oily) don't wash it everyday though. I don't use a lot of heat either. When I do, I use heat protectant even when blow drying. Drink water, eat protein, trim it every now and then(;

Growing your hair out long won't happen in weeks maybe a few months. The first and most important thing is to reduce the amount of heat use on your hair. I would get mane and tails shampoo. You can also get the conditioner but using it to much can lead to greasy and shiny looking hair. While washing your hair massage your scalp. You can check at a local vitamin shop for biotin supplements which strengthens your hair and nails and makes them grow faster. It's also good for skin. About every two weeks you should do a deep conditioning treatment to your hair. You can do one at home with olive oil, mayonaise, honey, and a raw egg. get it trimmed ever 2 months. and sleep with it up or in braids.
