If it matches your skin tone (you can test on the back of your hand). Most drugstore brands don't carry a foundation or bb for dark skinned people, and even if they do it's only a shade or two. So there isn't that big of a range. Try Iman cosmetics. :)

If your just starting out in makeup it might be best to get a bb cream as it is easier to work with, for foundation you need primer,specific brushes,powder and all sorts, match the colour from your temple to the jawline and that's where you will get the best match! I say get a bb cream since it is more simple and easy for beginners, then you can maybe go onto foundation, with skin like yours you don't need foundation ;)

DON't TEST IT ON THE BACK OF THE HAND EVER EVER EVER.

You know the foundation is a good match for you if you test it out on the back of your hand and blrnd to see if it actually matches your skin colour, nowing if your a warm, cool or neutral undertone can also help you with finding a right foundation or bb cream, you may need to mix foundations/bb creams. Also make sure you know if your skin is oily (try a powder), dry (try a liquid), or combination.

Try Black Radiance cosmetics. :)
Although I am not a dark skinned girl, I've tried their mascara & eyeshadows before, they're really awesome! :)

Don't EVER Try To Match The Back Of Your Hand...Best Is Your Jaw Line Because There Are Less Imperfections Or Skin Discoloration There!! :) Perfect Place To Color Match!

But what if I don't have a mirror?

You have to eye ball the shade.. get the closest visual match.
then test it against your jaw bone n lower cheek..
let it dry.
take a pic..
the pic will give you a good idea of what's really showing.
you have very pretty skin, I wouldn't advise on using a full foundation. if suggest a tinted moisturizer n keeping up your skincare.. a natural glow is always ideal. I'm not one of the lucky ones. keep that skin you got. ;-)
btw, you girls are just too cute!
