Does the lemon trick work?;)

Hello!;) I heard of a trick where you spray lemon juice on your hair and sit out in the sun and it turns it lighter? Does it work? If it does I'm going to do ombre with it;) x

It works in small increments! I use it in the summer lol... Do it a few days a week and you'll get good results. It just dries out your hair so make sure you use a moisturizing shampoo... I use dove shampoo and conditioner after a lemon juice treatment.

Hey Charlotte!

My roommate did it, and he said it turned his hair orange! I also think it dries out your hair. I've never personally tried it though!

It turns hair a brassy color, try with beer or chamomille :)

I used to do it and it definitely goes brassy. Same with Sun-In (which is hydrogen peroxide, watered down).

Wouldnt recommend sun in spray in lightener,really bad for hair hun.
