Just trim the ends off then after you take showers deep condition your hair and don't wash your hair everyday. (you can still shower) use as little heat as possible too. Then you can grow the hair back that you cut off.

Short clean undamaged hair!! Dead ends are not cute. Your hair will grow faster once all the dead ends have been chopped off, and if you don't suit/miss long hair, then you can always purchase clip in extensions
