I want to use brown dye over honey blonde highlights, I heard it'll turn you hair green. Anyone have experience with doing this?

It will turn your hair green. You need to fill your highlights first and then color over them with the desired color. I'm a cosmetologist and I've seen this many times.

First what color/shade brown? 2-3-4N also use a 10 volume if you want to cover it up.

Even if you get it done professionally and dye it a very deep brown it will still look greenish I learned that the hard way. 😳 I agree with Kaitlin you need to fill the highlights to keep it from having that green undertone

I just went from platinum blonde to dark brown and mine turned out great.. Lol I've heard this can happen but dye it almost black!! It will be very dark for the first couple of washes but with the sun and showering it will lighten a lot! Mine didn't turn green :)
