Hey guys! Thanks to everyone who helped me out in the last post.

I've been really looking into purchasing the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo, people say it really has made their hair lighter

But I have also seen some bad reviews saying it made their hair fall out, and break off, turn orange, etc. As you can see by my pictures my hair is like a medium-light orange toned blonde and I want to go to a more white blonde. Has anyone had any bad experiences with this shampoo? Would you recommend it?

Thanks! :)

Hello! I used it for a year and it was ok overall. It didn't make my hair any lighter, it just stayed the same but my hair is darkening all the time. I used to be really blonde but naturally over time my hair has gone to a dirty blonde colour. So it did work in a way! I did find that my hair didn't feel as nice but it wasn't a huge change. It only changes your hair orange if you are using lemon juice to lighten your hair too. If you are, choose one or the other. I found that the spray worked better but it includes hair dye so it isn't as natural as the shampoo. If you're thinking of using the conditioner too it made my hair greasy but I have fairly greasy hair anyway so it might be different for you. :) I have never done a product review so I'm sorry if this wasn't what you wanted! :/ Hope I helped! :)

What it actually does is just have thermo protection, meaning it prevents your hair from growing darker. its not actually making your hair blonder, just maintaining it. I have brown hair and I use it. its an okay shampoo. and @sarah your suolosed to only put shampoo on your roots and wash them

also, for better protection use the conditioner as well.
