I have heard that putting your hair in a messy bun every day (like I do) is bad for it and causes damage. Is this true? What can I do to help the damage?

It can catch up to you in your later years because the stress on your hair will cause bald spots take really good of it and wear a low pony or side braid at least twice a week

My hair has like no volume as it is. And it's hard to keep up. So I usually do it where I pull my hair through the tie half way and then twist and wrap back around then use a bunch of bobby pins. I don't really know any other hair styles that are really quick and that would work on my naturally curly hair.
