So I got bored with my hair, again...bleached the life out of it and then decided blonde isn't for me so went back to the dark side..but I have a lot of snapped pieces, a dry scalp and dry hair, what tips do you girls have to give it back some life?

Coconut oil, eat it up in the microwave for 30 sec. apply to hair, wrap with plastic wrap and either sleep with it or at least leave it in for an hour or so. you can also try 1/2 cup honey and 4tbsp olive oil for 30-60mins. Fyi tho once you damage your hair, it is not fixable. you can make it look a bit better but you can never repair it. you can only cut it off or else the ends will split farther and farther up so be careful and never, ever ever ever brush it when its wet or dry it without a heat protector. hope this helps.

I like it dark much better. for some reason the blonde makes you look young and meh while the dark makes you look like a model!!

Thanks Audra I've heard a lot of good things about coconut oil I bought a conditioner with coconut oil in it but I really need the pure oil, wish I'd learn to not mess with my hair ill just focus on conditioning it now and keep trimming it, it's dry but it's not at the point where I need to cut it all off thank god , thanks for the model comment! 😃 X

Be careful with the coconut oil tho, a little goes a long way and the first few times I tried it I looked like a greaseball lol. honey and an egg will do the trick if you have that around instead. or mayo but man is that stinky lol.

Anything from Redkens extreme line. My personal fave is anti snap and the deep conditioning mask :)

Keep a hand towel by your shower. Before you apply conditioner, blot out all excess water from your hair with the hand towel. Put your hair up in a clip or cap so the conditioner can have a chance to penetrate the hair shaft. Rinse the conditioner very last.
