Brush your hair and flip it upside down. Brush it again when it is upside down and then gather it all together in the middle and brush out any bumps.

Brush your hair out, and then brush all of your hair up to where you want it to be and put in an elaatik? don't move it afterwards cause thats going to make it a bit messy, and don't do the thing where you pull on your hair to tighten the ponytail cause then it can end up looking messy to :)
