Help please! I look decent in light makeup. but when I wear dark makeup I feel like I have added three pounds to my face! any tips?

-keep the dark color on your lids only. Leave the crease up neutral or bare. In this pic, the girl has on black eyeshadow but she still looks fresh faced
-don't blend color past crease
-it's a balancing act. If you do dark eyes, keep everything else light or neutral. And vice versa with the lips.
-For a black smokey eye, put down a colored base first on your lids. I like to do a violet and I think it looks so pretty when I put the dark shadow over it
