I'm not an Estée Lauder fan there's my reason. MAC is extremely overrated. But your money at the end that's being spent.

Both are great but I prefer for myself (not for my kit) MAC because the color range just fits me better. It's all subjective.

I just bought my first mac lipstick today and it's great. It's slightly drying without a lip balm. I've never tried Smashbox lipsticks but I absolutely love all Smashbox products. Maybe buy 1 and see which one you like better.

@Queen B. - Our moderation team isn't here to censor anyone. We love threads like these and seeing people get engaged, however things can steer away from the topic at hand which is Smashbox versus Mac Lipsticks.
