Okay a week on Saturday it will have been 11 weeks so since I last relaxed my hair, I do have a little bit of growth and as I'm starting college in a couple of weeks I wanted to get my hair done before then. So would it be okay to get my hair braided next weekend or would it damage my hair? Also how long should I keep in the braids?

If your hair is healthy in the first place, there will be minimum damage. I had Senegalese twists that went past my butt a couple times and there was shedding when I took them out but nothing major. You shouldn't keep them in longer than a month and a half. The new growth will make them look messy and it gets annoying to have to redo the braids in the front. Plus I change hair to much to commit to one style for months and months 😉

Okay thank you! I was scared that clumps of my hair would fall out after taking out the braids :)
