I'm growing out my nails...and so far they're pretty long...anybody know how to get them nice and hard and strong? I don't want them to break :(

Protein. brittle nails are a sign from your body that you don't have enough protein. if they're already pretty sturdy then make sure your nails are kept clean. build up can weigh down the nail making it weaker. acetone may also weaken the nails, so switching to an acetone free remover can help prevent thinning of the tissue - which leads to breakage

Also try using a clear coat of something like hard as nails.. It really works!
