@Nina that's what I thought.

Also, if you wrap your hair around your iron feel with your finger(carefully! Don't burn your fingers lol) if your hair is hot enough. Then, catch the curl in your hand to hold the heat a little longer! Hope this helps!

Try no heat overnight methods maybe? Look them up on YouTube, there's loads.

Ask your friend where she got her curling iron...and go swoop on one!

If you curl your hair with the iron, and then set them in curlers/rollers over night, that will make your hair hold a curl really well. Hope this helps :)

After you do a curl pin it up or something. you probably have thick hair like me so curling is frustrating when it un curls after a little while. by pinning them up and hairspraying them the gravity won't hold them down so they basically uncurl. :)hope it helps

It's your iron. I'd just snag a new one. Also a thermal styling spray is much better for your hair than hairspray for heat-activated curls. Rusk makes an excellent one. Lastly, let your curls cool completely before styling them. I'd use a pick to retain as much curl as possible.

THANK You GUYS!! I'm probably going to try an overnight method and I'm going to buy the kind of curler my friend has.

When you take the curl of the iron hold it in your palm and sort of move it up and down to help keep the curl from falling out while cooling... Also Use apply hair spray before you curl your hair and brush. This should add some texture and help hold the curl as well.

Maybe give your hair some texture with dry shampoo and then put something at the ends then curl.

I usually curl my hair then push it to my head while its still curled but off the iron, then bobby pin it till it cools down... if that makes sense.
