This is a little off topic but I'm just interested to know, in the US does every grade have a prom or homecoming or whatever its called. where I'm from we only got one school dance when you were in your very last year of school as a sort of send off. we never got dances of any sort in any of the younger years.

Our school lets freshman and jrs go and hounor class go and seniors go to prom unless your younger and is a date with a senior the you can go.

Avoid long dresses! It will get stepped on trust me. Go with a short one.
