Don't use foundation unless you really have to, use a cc cream like clinique a to give a nice base while still keeping skin young and fresh :)

The base of your makeup is the most important part, whether it is a BB cream, CC cream, foundation, or tinted moisturizer-make sure it matches your skin tone and works with the type of skin you have. Don't abuse bronzer or blush and avoid sleeping in makeup.

Use lotion to wipe off eye makeup mistakes if you use eye makeup remover its greasy and hard to reapply your makeup.

Oh and tug the outer corner of your eye when you put on eyeliner so you don't blink and screw it up.
